In short, our basic ability to be fully present, and wholly aware of where we are and what we’re doing - "being in the moment" is the key to performance. It means not being overly reactive or overwhelmed by what’s going on around us, or what happened yesterday. It means to be truly “where your feet are at”, or to be maximally aware of one’s surroundings.
